The area covered by the History Links Project is steeped in rich history and culture from the Neolithic right up to the present day (see map here). It is unique in terms of landscape, language, literature and holds a rich cultural diversity influenced by many events throughout history, culminating in a unique collective identity of the people who live here today.

The area is ripe for an increase in tourism, and members of the History Links Project through their work are identifying areas of importance for tourism, and ideas on how to promote them, in the links below.
